Assistant Professor of Psychology
Dr. Deanne Bell will join the faculty of Antioch College after receiving her doctorate in depth psychology at the Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2011 and teaching psychology at the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, New York, in 2011 and 2012. In March 2013, she led a workshop titled “Coming in From the Cold: Liberation Psychology for Counselors and Educators” at the Graduate School of Education & Counseling at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. Bell has years of clinical experience and professional research, including topics such as dream experiences, violence, and poverty. She is the co-founder of Jamaicans for Justice, a citizens’ rights action group advocating for fundamental social change in Jamaica.
