Assistant Professor of Literature
Dr. Jennifer Branlat comes to the literature department of Antioch College from the language department, where she has been visiting assistant professor of French since September 2012. She earned her doctorate in French in 2012 with a concentration in twentieth-century French literature and film from The Ohio State University. Branlat’s areas of teaching expertise include world literature, film, and critical theory. Her current research explores representations of postcolonial Paris, which she intends to develop into an experiential learning travel experience with her students. Branlat is also collaborating with faculty at Ohio State on the translation of a collection of critical texts by Pierre Klossowski and Christian Bonnefoi for the interdisciplinary Tableau Project.
