Personal Essay
- Option 1 Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.
- Option 2 Discuss some issues of personal, local, national, or international concern and their importance to you.
- Option 3 Describe a creative work that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence.
- Option 4 Given your personal background, describe an experience that illustrates what you would bring to the diversity in a college community, or an encounter that demonstrated the importance of diversity to you.
- Option 5 Topic of your choice.
Scholarship Essay
Through a distinctive integration of academic study, real-world work, and community participation, Antioch College graduates become change-agents for some of the world’s most pressing issues. Please submit an essay of approximately 500 words using the following prompt to develop your ideas: Inquiry, Work, Community.
Optional Items
- Interviews: Students who submit all supporting materials and complete their application may be invited to interview with an admission representative or alumni of the College. No applicant is at a disadvantage if an interview cannot be arranged.
- Test Scores (optional): Applicants are encouraged to submit their ACT or SAT scores.
