JOB DESCRIPTION
Antioch College is seeking gardeners to work in the organic garden year-round. Gardeners are responsible for growing fruit, vegetables, and flowers in the garden and around campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- All aspects of care and nurturance of various gardens on campus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience with sustainable practices, organic, biodynamic, permaculture.
- Knowledge of horticulture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Green thumb.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous gardening experience or desire to learn.
HOURS
Negotiable. Desired time commitment is a few hours a week or more.
