SOUTH GLEN RESTORATION PROJECT
Supported by the Nature Conservancy, volunteers and interns work to restore the riparian area of the Little Miami River back to its native roots. Join us in boots, with work gloves and a water bottle. Tools and training provided. Projects vary, rain or shine. Please check www.glenhelen.org for more information. Join Extension Naturalist Matthew on a romp through Glen Helen to observe and identify nature's most abundant and diverse animal group: the arthropods. WEDNESDAY OUTDOOR PAINTING AND DRAWING WORKSHOP, JUNE 6, 13, 20 & 27, 2012
Please join us for an Outdoor Painting and Drawing Workshop as part of the Birch House Artist Series! Create art in harmony with nature at Birch House in beautiful Glen Helen when you join Miami Valley Artists Beth Holyoke, Margrit Tydings-Petree, Pat Robinow and Sherraid Scott for a 4 week session of outdoor painting and drawing.
Meet at 10am on Wednesday’s in June, set out to draw or paint along the paths or lawn at Birch House. Enjoy lunch with a roundtable conversation and if you would like, a show and tell of your on-going work. Bring your lawn chair, supplies and easels. All levels of artists are encouraged to attend.
