Glen Helen Ranger Susan Smith will be your tour guide for a whirlwind introduction to the history, programs, and people of Glen Helen. This two-hour hike visits the Nature Shop, the Auditorium, the Raptor Center, Trailside Museum— and all the natural landmarks in between. Departs from the Corry Street Parking lot, 1:00 p.m.

Award–winning photographer Vince Nobel will lead an interactive discussion exploring the intimate side of nature with a skill-building workshop on macro and close-up photography. Join us for an interactive program with our resident reptiles as we prepare their delicious feast. Drop in to meet our new Eastern Corn Snake as we announce the new name and watch our Eastern Box Turtle devour a plate of food not much different than your own. Trailside Museum, 11am-12pm.

Aided by your naked eye and a telescope, join Pat Craig, the Outreach Astronomer, for an evening of stars, planets, constellations, and stories. Stargazing is weather dependent so cross your fingers for clear skies. Antioch College Amphitheater lawn, 8pm.
