Land Steward
The Land Steward Internship provides practical experience in the theory and methods of natural areas management. Interns will learn the field botany of Southwest Ohio while engaging in a 10-month effort to restore a 2-mile stretch of riparian corridor of the National Scenic Little Miami River. Internship runs from Thursday, March 1 through Friday, December 14, 2012. Weekly schedule follows a 40-hour workweek, including a 1-hour lunch break. Weekend work required. Naturalist Internship Program
The Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center hosts ten new interns every school year to participate in the Glen Helen Outdoor School program. Positions are for 10 months with the possibility for continuation during the summer or for a second year. All positions for 2011-12 are filled. Apply now for 2012-13.
