: Outdoor School Curriculum :
The Glen Helen Outdoor Education Center’s Outdoor School curriculum is aligned with Ohio Academic Content Standards, especially in the areas of life and physical science. Students that visit Glen Helen experience a wide variety of lessons, which integrate inquiry and hands-on learning in our natural communities. Many of our lessons are multi-disciplinary incorporating science, social studies and language arts themes. Teachers work closely with our Program Coordinator to design an outdoor education experience that will compliment classroom learning objectives.
