On August 12, Antioch College continued its Civil Rights Cinema Series with the screening of Roz Payne’s 2006 documentary "What We Want, What We Believe: The Black Panther Party Library."

A prescreening lecture was given by Hasan Kwame Jeffries, author of "Bloody Lowndes: Civil Rights and Black Power in Alabama’s Black Belt" (2009). Jeffries, a professor of history at the Ohio State University, spoke about the history and goals of the Black Panther party in relationship to freedom rights struggles.
