On June 3, 2010, Antioch College’s Morgan Fellows hosted Teaching Across Borders: The Global Futures of Indigenous Studies at the Coretta Scott King Center at the Yellow Springs campus.
Associate professor of English at the Ohio State University, Allen Chadwick discussed "The Global Futures of Indigenous Studies."
Allen coordinates the American Indian Studies Program at Ohio State, where he teaches courses in indigenous literatures and postcolonial studies. He has published widely on Native American literature, Maori literature, the discourse of treaties, and representations of the American West. Allen is the author of Blood Narrative: Indigenous Identity in American Indian and Maori Literary and Activist Texts (Duke University Press, 2002). Allen is also active in the Diversity and Identity Studies Initiative at Ohio State.
