YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio—April 9, 2014—In participation with Dr. Carol Logan Patitu, a Professor of Leadership Studies in Education and Organizations at Wright State University, key leaders from Antioch College took part in a panel with twenty graduate students to discuss the challenges the college faced as it reopened after a fiscal crisis, and its plans for continuing to build financial health for the future. The event was developed as part of the students' course in Finance and Budget Management.
President Mark Roosevelt kicked off the panel by sharing the story of the close and rebirth of the college and what it took to make that happen. Topics discussed also included the role of the alumni in helping the college move forward, lessons from financial successes and failures, the shared vision for the college, and the relationship with the Yellow Springs community.
Following the panel, the student participants took a tour of the campus to see first-hand the changes being accomplished at this time.
