Morgan Fellows Forum: The Global Futures of Indigenous Studies, June 3

The Morgan Fellows at Antioch College are pleased to present academic Chadwick Allen in a public forum on "Teaching Across Borders," at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, in the Coretta Scott King Center at the Yellow Springs campus.

An associate professor of English at the Ohio State University, Allen will discuss "The Global Futures of Indigenous Studies."

Allen coordinates the American Indian Studies Program at Ohio State, where he teaches courses in indigenous literatures and postcolonial studies. He has published widely on Native American literature, Maori literature, the discourse of treaties, and representations of the American West. Allen is the author of Blood Narrative: Indigenous Identity in American Indian and Maori Literary and Activist Texts (Duke University Press, 2002). Allen is also active in the Diversity and Identity Studies Initiative at Ohio State.
