The Antioch College arts division has seen its faculty grow from one to five in the past two years. The College also hosts a number of resident scholars (former faculty at the College) who create visual art, dance and performance. We are pleased to introduce our growing and vibrant arts community to the region by way of this exhibition. The title Currencies reflects our unfolding present. Some common inquiries and overlapping strategies across the works include: exchange, process, movement, and improvisation. Media represented will include painting, sculpture, video, photography, multimedia installation, and performance. Participants include: Sara Black, Jill Becker, Michael Casselli, Gabrielle Civil, Dennie Eagleson, Charles Fairbanks, Raewyn Martyn, Nevin Mercede, and Louise Smith The gallery will closed from December 24 – January 1 for holiday break.
