"All in the Timing" a night of David Ives

Three short comedies directed by student Alexander Campbell November 22 and 23.

On Saturday and Sunday, the 22 and 23, student Alexander Campbell will have produced and directed a collection of plays on campus. These plays are one-acts by playwright David Ives, titled “The Philadelphia,” “Words, Words, Words,” and “Sure Thing.” “The Philadelphia” is set in a small diner with two friends, each are metaphysically ‘trapped’ in Philadelphia, where he can never get what he needs, and Los Angeles, where his day is perfect, no matter what happens to him. “Words, Words, Words” is about three chimpanzees set in front of typewriters to eventually prove that even monkeys could produce “Hamlet.” “Sure Thing” is about two strangers who meet awkwardly, and whenever one says something ‘wrong,’ a bell dings and they have to start over, until they say the ‘right’ thing. Cast with the incredible talent of Megan Howes, Jack Hassler, Hannah Craig, Cole Gentry, Malka Berro, and David Schopmeyer. Save the date! This will be an amazing experience.

"TAG! Territorial Negotiations"

The Herndon Gallery presents “TAG! Marking Territory”

A FUN street savvy exhibition featuring street art and artists negotiating territorial space claims on the public turf and bringing up conversations about overt and covert space claims, the give-and-take of community, individual, and personal interests each artist makes when making art in public spaces. Murals, panel art, graffiti, wheat paste, yarn bombing, street performers infuse our community with layers of sensory experiences in our shared public spaces–some as a gifts, others as claims.

Reunion & Commencement Weekend

In 1965, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered the commencement address to the graduating class. Fifty years later, Antioch College will graduate its first class since reopening. A class of pioneers in their own right, just like many members of the class of 1965 and thousands of alumni in between.

SAVE THE DATE. HELP US MAKE HISTORY.
