Obituary: Jeffrey C. Kasch '65

Jeffrey C. Kasch Passed away at age 69 years, on April 27, 2011, surrounded by loving family and friends. Dearly loved husband of Meg Kasch (nee Fetherston). Adored father of Libby Kasch. Cherished brother of William (Laurie) Kasch and James (Robin) Kasch. Further survived by caring relatives, friends and recipients of his quiet generosity. Jeff was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised in Whitefish Bay. Educated at Country Day School, Antioch College and Harvard Business School, he lived his life as an advocate for children, equality and the arts. For thirty years Jeff served as President of M.W. Kasch Company, the largest independent toy distributor in the nation. He actively participated in Young Presidents' Organization, World Presidents' Organization and AIPAC. Jeff was a valued board member of the Milwaukee Art Museum's Contemporary Art Society, Penfield Children's Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Antioch University, and Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun and acted as a Mentor for the Latino Nonprofit Leadership Program. A leader in the business, arts and philanthropic communities, Jeff will be remembered as someone whose life demonstrated that one individual can help build a better society. Funeral services 1:00 PM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Congregation Emanu-El B'ne Jeshurun, 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd., River Hills. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, 2615 W. Cleveland Ave., Milwaukee.
