Barbara B. Wright, 77, who worked in administrative support positions at the National Institutes of Health for 25 years, died Feb. 2, 2012 at Montgomery Hospice’s Casey House in Rockville.
The Bethesda resident had cancer, said her daughter, Laura Wright.
Mrs. Wright worked primarily in offices related to child and family research. She retired about a decade ago.
Barbara Bolten Heim was born in Salt Lake City. She studied psychology at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, and at the University of Michigan.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John Ward Wright of Bethesda; four children, Thomas Wright of Clinton, Mass., Stephen Wright and Laura Wright, both of Charlotte, and Andrew Wright of North Andover, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
