HUNTINGDON,TENN --Frank Cequin, Jr., 88, of Huntingdon, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside funeral services were conducted on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Arthur Lodge officiating. Mr. Cequin was born June 30, 1924 in Huntingdon to the late Frank Cequin, Sr. and Marie (Parish) Cequin. He was a graduate of Huntingdon High School Class of 1942 and attended Purdue University and Antioch College while in service. He was a retired employee of the CSX railroad, having 42 years of service as a clerk, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder, deacon and Sunday school teacher.
Mr Cequin was a WWII veteran, having served 38 months in Europe. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Woody Kennon, and a nephew, Michael Woody. He is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Vonell Cequin; a nephew, G.I. Woody of Brentwood, Tennessee; and a cousin, Virginia Hudson of Jackson, Tennessee. Dilday-Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
