Richard L. “Dick” Lightstone, 82, of Ambler, died on February 25, 2010 at Abington Hospice. He was the beloved husband of Judy L. (Moss) Lightstone. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 31, 1927 to the late Sidney and Libbie (Snyder) Lightstone. He graduated Great Neck High School in NY in 1944 and from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio with a degree in Engineering in 1950. Dick was a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. He was the Vice President of Technical Sales and Marketing for Drexelbrook Engineering for 35 years until his retirement. Dick was a member of ISA (Instrument Society of America), API (American Petroleum Institute) where he was a board member. He was very active during his healthier years when he enjoyed swimming, tennis, golf, grew orchids, and was a member of a greenhouse club. In addition to his wife Judy, he is survived by 3 children, 1 stepson Travis Hopkins, 5 grandsons, 1 great grandson, a brother John Lightstone and a sister Sydney Swartz both of Queens NY.
