JOB DESCRIPTION
Antioch College is seeking gardeners to work in the organic garden during the spring and summer of 2010. Gardeners are responsible for growing fruit, vegetables, and flowers in the garden and around campus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- All aspects of care and nurturance of various gardens on campus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience with sustainable practices, organic, biodynamic, permaculture.
- Knowledge of horticulture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Green thumb.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous gardening experience.
HOURS
Negotiable. From a few hours per week to full time (live on campus) positions available.
